Mexology: Experience Vibrant Flavors and Lively Atmosphere in Elizabeth, NJ

I made a dinner reservation at this restaurant for eight people and I overall had a really great experience. We originally had a dinner reservation at 8 o’clock but because there was an accident on the parkway. Our GPS said we wouldn’t arrive until 830 so we called ahead and they were very accommodating and pushed back our reservation to 9 o’clock and when we arrived earlier than anticipated at 8:40 they still had everything ready for our table and sat us down. The waiters were very quick to take our drink orders, and into explain our prefix menu. We were also able to get hookah fairly quickly once we were seated down. The overall staff was very quick to bring out our appetizers and our entrées. The food was overall great. I ordered a salmon off the prefix menu and it was cooked perfectly with their signature sauce. Overall, the atmosphere for the night was amazing not only was there a good DJ, but also alive, mariachi band that entertained all of the customers. I highly recommend, if you’re looking to host a dinner party!

About this restaurant, there are no complaints. Both the meal and the service were outstanding. Wonderful beverages were the finest part of! Owner was quite kind. Our server paid great attention to us. The costs are not, in my opinion, as absurd as others may imagine. Since you get what you pay for, I genuinely believe the pricing are fair. I'm going to return.

Very chill vibe! I would have passed this place if my friend hadn't taken me here. This establishment is amazing! The layout and esthetics were well thought out. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The prices are reasonable and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly in each section we walked into. The servers stayed on top of everything and kept us informed. I had such a great time. I recommended this place to my coworkers, and they will be coming next week. This place will not disappoint.

Service was great, from the hostess to the server on a Saturday night. I enjoyed the live music, really good drinks. Although I have to say I am not a fan of the tablets used as menus. And I wish they had more options of food on the dinner menu, besides that food was really good.

My bf and I Went here on a Saturday night for dinner (reservation required). First, the staff was excellent and very friendly. Whoever the manager was, he came to our table several times to check on us and change our plates out. Our server was excellent as well. Second, There isn’t the widest selection for entrees, but we ordered the Churrasco to share, along with the pork carnitas tacos, and the guacamole with fried pork belly as appetizers. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. We also ordered a caipinhra and old fashioned. Both drinks were great. Lastly, our only negative would be the volume of the music played by the dj while we were eating. The music was so loud that it was distracting from us being able to actually talk to each other when we’re only a few feet across from each other. The ambiance and the restaurant itself was very nice. We both agreed we would come back for a second chance. Maybe brunch? Definitely want to try the margaritas, we didn’t try them this time because the music was too much and we were over it. Also, this restaurant serves hookah in the dining area and automatically includes gratuity on the check, whether you observe these as a positive or negative. Would recommend all in all, but couldn’t give 5 stars mainly because of the music volume/dj.

By far an all around 5 start experience. From the moment you step inside you know you’re in for a good time. Friendly, welcoming staff. Amazing decor, lights, furniture, outdoor area all amazing. The drinks are excellent and well presented. The food full of flavor and plated to perfection. The music, live DJ, live mariachi, and many other futures add to the experience. The Brisket Barbacoa is a must. Will definitely be back.

This place have a great Brunch - small menu but it is very good . The drinks I love the Paloma. The Dj and the music was so good and the atmosphere OMG the patio is so nice . We love it !

It was a great service at this location. I went for a salsa event on a weekend and had a blast! The waitress was very prompt and constantly coming over to ask us if we were ok with our table’s needs. The manager John William did a great job making sure we were comfortable and if we’re been taking care of. Definitely very nice establishment. There’s not parking ONLY VIP $. Cocktails were ok they just need it some more alcohol but great ambience over all!
